Kanika Dhillon blasts tabloids for linking her to Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha separation, calls the whole thing ‘Laughable-Despicable-Irresponsible’.
Just yesterday, actress Dia Mirza and filmmaker Sahil Sangha announced their mutal separation after being together for 11 years. The couple announced it in a joint statement and the news definitely took many in the industry by surprise.
Tabloids have been linking Dia with Mohit Raina and Sahil’s growing friendship with film writer Kanika Dhillon whose latest outing includes Judgementall Hai Kya, cause of the separation.
And to add fuel to the fire, yesterday Kanika and her husband Prakash Kovelamudi, director of Judgementall Hai Kya, shared that their marriage has ended too.
Kanika took to Twitter to shut down these rumours and blasted the tabloids calling their reports ‘Laughable-Despicable-Irresponsible’. She tweeted, “Laughable-Despicable-Irresponsible! Fiction writing is my job! Can tabloids be a lill more responsible pls? Jst bcos 2news items come at d same time-They can’t b interlinked! It’s not a potpourri! Hav NEVER met Diya/ Sahil in my ENTIRE life! Pls get over it n let us get back 2work!”
Producer Ekta Kapoor was among the first one to add little levity to the whole fiasco. She replied to Kanika, “Kanika mental illness is a real thing! Hallucinations are a part of it!!!!”
