Raymond’s Annual Garment Exchange Program is Back
Raymond Lifestyle encourages customers to exchange pre-loved garments for free custom tailoring while promoting grassroots development across India with the support of Goonj.
In an endeavour to reaffirm its commitment to circularity in fashion and giving back to the society, Raymond Lifestyle has launched the landmark 10th edition of its annual Garment Exchange Program. This initiative invites people to experience the comfort of wearing customised clothes while donating pre-loved clothes to Goonj – a renowned NGO which utilises clothes as a resource for rural development, disaster relief, and to create dignified livelihood opportunities across India. For the launch of its 2026 edition of Garment Exchange Program (GEP), the brand has evolved to a deeply personalised new narrative: “FIT FOR YOU. FEELS LIKE YOU.”
The evolution is depicted through a compelling digital campaign that tackles the impersonal nature of fast fashion, shining a light on an industry that forces unique individuals into the rigid, standardized boxes of Small, Medium, or Large. Raymond believes in the transformative power of a well- tailored customised garment. With this program customers can experience the luxury of wearing their own unique style crafted from exquisite fabrics available at The Raymond Shop, ensuring the perfect fit and style tailored that “FIT FOR YOU. FEELS LIKE YOU”.
Raymond’s Garment Exchange Program this year, thus invites customers to contribute the clothes they no longer need in return for tailoring vouchers that offer the customers the joy of owning their personal style.Speaking on the launch of the 2026 edition, Satyaki Ghosh, Director and CEO of Raymond Lifestyle Limited, remarked: “Reaching the 10th-year milestone of ‘Look Good Feel Good’ is a proud moment that reflects the strong brand ethos. At Raymond, our relationship with our consumers has always been interwoven with threads of trust and timeless elegance and the intent to give back through circularity in fashion. As we continue our journey with Goonj, we stay committed to elevating the dignity of labour in our own ecosystem. As customisation and premiumisation continue to define the Indian luxury landscape, this initiative also serves as a bridge, allowing our customers to experience the unparalleled precision of Raymond tailoring.”
Goonj Founder, Anshu Gupta said, “The long-standing partnership between Goonj and Raymond has evolved into a meaningful coming together of people, purpose and possibilities. Year after year, this campaign has shown that when citizens are offered a meaningful platform to contribute, they respond with ownership and commitment. Twenty-seven years ago, we recognised that despite being one of humanity’s three basic needs, cloth remained one of the most neglected. Since then, Goonj has worked to change the lens, language and narrative around not only clothing but about material poverty, from an ignored necessity to a powerful resource for development and climate action. Millions of kilograms of discarded cloth and other underutilised material continue to burden the landfill and such relationships stop the same at a scale. We look forward to deepening our partnership with Raymond and continuing to demonstrate how collective action can transform an overlooked resource into opportunities for dignity and sustainable development.”
Simultaneously, the contributed garments across categories including shirts, trousers, jackets, women’s, and children’s wear are routed to campaign partner Goonj’s Circularity Centres. Following detailed processing, these clothes become a vital component of Goonj’s comprehensive material kits. Rather than acting as mere charity, these kits are provided to rural communities as a dignified reward for their active efforts in solving local development issues, ranging from the revival of water bodies to building bamboo bridges and more.
