Marking a milestone, BIG FM’s unique initiative Onward & Upward – The BIG Morning Show has hit a century! Through the show, the radio network’s aim has been to upskill and empower its workforce by bringing about a shift in moving beyond traditional static learning to taking action-oriented perspectives. Celebrating the landmark episode, Shri. Subhash Chandra, Chairman Emeritus of Zee Entertainment, became the 100th speaker as he imparted his knowledge and wisdom amongst the BIG FM employees.

Speaking about the new-normal, Shri. Subhash Chandra said, “We are living in a world that is evolving at a very rapid pace due to multiple factors. It is not only industrial or technological led changes, but even social or environment led changes that is making us reorient our priorities constantly. But I feel one should not be fearful of these changes. I strongly believe that any change, especially a change for the better, is accompanied by several discomforts. These changes challenge you and make you realize the true value of things in your life.”

Adding to the above he also sheds light on his learnings as he said, “One needs to strive and forge ahead on the path of success, and only hard work and perseverance can lead you to it. Always remember, challenging situations and difficult times are nothing but lessons for us to enhance our approach. The art of life is to live in the present moment and make that present moment as perfect as we can.”

“I urge you all to focus on positive thoughts and to take some time out from your daily routine to rejuvenate your minds. One must indulge in an exercise for the mind, body, and soul that nourishes you every day.”

Sharing his thoughts on business and the future, he added, “In order to start a venture, it is essential to understand the need and fill that gap. I am now looking at going back to basics by indulging in farming and growing organic food for the Indian kitchens.” Dr. Chandra also shared that he loves radio as it knows the pulse of the people best than any other medium.

Commenting about the same, Abraham Thomas – Chief Executive Officer, Reliance Broadcast Network Limited, said, “We are extremely privileged and honored to have Dr. Subhash Chandra inspiring Team Big on the 100th episode of Onward & Upward – The Big Morning Show! It was surely one of the most insightful and engaging sessions. This show has grown from strength to strength with over 100 experts sharing their insights and challenges with us, preparing us for the ‘new better’. This has helped us build momentum as a team and drive us to greater achievements in the last 5 months.”
