Celebrating a Year of Signature Cantonese Flavours at Royal China Bengaluru

Twelve months, countless celebrations and a growing list of familiar faces later, Royal China Bengaluru has made its mark on the city.

One year, with countless tables gaining popularity, Royal China Bengaluru marks its first anniversary as one of the city’s most talked-about dining addresses. In just twelve months, its distinctive Cantonese offering has drawn a discerning clientele, including celebrities, prominent personalities and Bengaluru’s most recognisable names. From leisurely lunches and intimate dinners to high-profile celebrations and late-evening gatherings, Royal China has become a sought-after address where exceptional food and the city’s social scene come together.

For Bengaluru’s discerning dining crowd, Royal China has brought a distinctive new flavour to the city’s culinary scene. Its delectable Cantonese menu has won over diners with its depth of flavour with delicate craftsmanship and indulgent signatures. The Royal China Prawn Dumplings (Har Gau), Crispy Aromatic Duck with Pancakes, Lobster in Black Pepper Sauce and Chocolate Dim Sum have emerged as enduring favourites, giving the city plenty to savour and return for.

“Royal China’s first year in Bengaluru has exceeded our expectations. To see our distinctive approach to Cantonese dining resonate so strongly with the city has been immensely rewarding. As we celebrate this milestone, we remain focused on evolving our culinary offering and creating experiences that keep our guests coming back,” says Faiz Rizwan, Executive Director of Prestige Group and the Head of Royal China Bengaluru.

The interiors make a statement of their own, drawing inspiration from the mythical phoenix through soaring walls, sculptural chandeliers and fluid ceiling forms. Rich gold, amber and deep blue tones give the space a dramatic, regal character.

“Royal China was envisioned as a space where the food, ambience and art of entertaining come together seamlessly. Seeing guests embrace that experience, return for it and make the restaurant their own has been one of the highlights of our first year in Bengaluru,” says Fajr Qureishi, Co-Founder, Royal China.

The first year of Royal China Bengaluru has been one of discovery, recognition and a growing appetite for what the restaurant does next. What began as the arrival of a celebrated Cantonese name has, in twelve months, become a dining address with its own following, its own rhythm and its own place in Bengaluru’s social landscape. As Royal China looks to the year ahead, it continues to experiment with flavours, explore new culinary possibilities and create experiences that give its growing audience yet another reason to come back.
