With over 25 years of research in the region, Chef Mahesh Naik of The Gateway Hotel Manjuran, Mangalore, joins the team here for this exclusive culinary journey as he recreates the flavours of enchanting Mangalore.

Get your taste-buds tingling with all-time favourites like Neeruli baji (golden fried onion fritters);Chattambadae (Mangalorean style wada); Kundapur Chicken Curry (A special spicy chicken curry made in Kundapur); Maasa Paccha Masala (Mangalorean style Mutton curry made of green coriander and chillies); Kori Kempu Bezule (Chicken fry marinated to perfection in a traditional Mangalorean masala, tossed in yoghurt, green chillies and curry leaves); Kori Gassi (Succulent pieces of chicken cooked in finely ground fresh coconut with spices and chilies); and Kudla Mutton Biryani (A special Dakshin Karnataka style biryani flavoured with Badigai chilli and coconut). Vegetarians can savour Padange Lambu Gassi (Button mushrooms cooked with home-made sprouts in Mangalorean gravy); Kumda Sausway (Ash gourd cooked in tangy coconut gravy); and Batata Uppukari (Farm fresh potato beans tempered mustard and grated coconut).

Round off this splendid meal with Ragi Manni (Chilled millet pudding), or Kadle Bellae Payasam  (Chana dal cooked along with jaggery and fresh coconut milk).
