From Single Malts at Zarf to Mithai at Feast, celebrate this Diwali at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield
The diyas are lit, the rangolis are bright, and the festive calendar is filling up fast. Diwali is the time for mithai boxes, family reunions and long evenings that stretch well past dinner. And when everyone is together, one question always follows: what are we eating? The best Diwali evenings are the ones where the food and the pour are as dazzling as the diyas.
This year, Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center has two tables worth gathering around: Zarf, for the table that likes to linger, and Feast, for a heartier gathering to cherish.
At Zarf, signature Indian fine-dining restaurant, the evening is built around an exclusive single malt created for the restaurant, with a menu designed to complement every pour. It opens with Mushroom ki Galouti finished with saffron warqi, followed by Peshawari Namak Mandi Lamb Chops and Lamb Galouti Kebab. Dal-e-Zarf, slow-cooked in stoneware with yellow moong and desi ghee, brings it all home. Each dish is meant to echo, contrast or lift the whisky in the glass, making it ideal for family and friends who would rather savour a good pour than watch the clock.
For a larger celebration, Feast presents Noor, “The Festival of Light”, a festive brunch of regional favourites, celebratory biryanis and Paneer Pasanda. Kaju Katli and Besan Ladoo carry the mithai tradition through to the final bite, so the sweetest part of Diwali is right there on the table.
Two menus, one reason to show up. Diwali is always better when everyone is there.
