Right now, on the field, LSG chose to bowl while Gaikwad and Conway are batting. The total score is 110 at the end of the 9th over. This match is considered to be Thala’s coming and is extremely special for the home players as well. Speaking of which, Dhoni added at the toss for the match against LSG, “It does mean a lot to be back here. IPL started in 2008 but we’ve not played a lot of crickets here.”

Our very own Chinna Thala, Suresh Raina added an emotional post to his Instagram handle. He captioned it as “Stepping into the Chepauk Stadium feels like coming back home. This ground has witnessed my triumphs, my ups, and downs, and my lifelong love for the game. Grateful to be back where my heart belongs #chennai.” The cricketer posed with fellow cricket player, Robin Uthappa on the field of Chepauk.
