How to use Gram Flour for Your Skin?

In India, it’s commonly known as Besan and has always remained a favorite ingredient in the Indian skincare routine.

Cleanser:

My grandma always advised me using gram flour along with turmeric powder for cleansing the skin. Doesn’t harm the skin and results are great.

Exfoliates Skin:

Besides being a cleanser and it also acts as a mild exfoliating agent to get rid of blackheads and cleanse your clogged pores too.

Gram Inner

De-Tan:

Just prepare a face pack by mixing 4 tsp gram flour with 1 tsp each of lemon, yogurt and turmeric powder. Apply onto your cleansed face and wash off with cool water after the pack dries. Good news is that you can use this pack every day – no side effects.

Skin Lightening:

If you are looking to lighten your skin tone you can try besan. A prepare a paste by mixing 1 tsp each of milk and lemon juice with 4 tsp of this cream-colored powder can be applied regularly to lighten dark spots and reveal glowing skin. This can also be used for preparing an instant fairness pack. 3 tsp gram flour, 1 tsp of cream and 1 tsp ground orange peel – just mix these ingredients, apply and wash off.

Fights Pimples: 

Gram flour is packed with antibacterial properties and it’s a good friend for those who suffer from pimples. To eliminate unwanted facial hair, regularly apply a mixture of besan and fenugreek powder.
