Arjun Kapoor celebrates seven years of ‘Two States’

Actor Arjun Kapoor celebrated seven years of his successful college romantic drama film ‘Two States’ on Sunday on social media. The film which released in 2014 is based on author Chetan Bhagat’s 2009 novel ‘2 States: The Story of My Marriage’. It also starred Alia Bhatt, Ronit Bose Roy, Revathi, Amrita Singh and Shiv Kumar Subramaniam in pivotal roles.

Sharing a small video consisting of important scenes from the film on his Instagram handle, Arjun wrote, “All you need is love … especially today. #7yearsof2states #2States @karanjohar @aliaabhatt @abhivarman @dharmamovies @utvfilms @nadiadwalagrandson”.

Directed by Abhishek Varman in his directorial debut, the film was jointly produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala under their respective banners Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

On film front, Arjun Kapoor will next be seen onscreen in Pavan Kirpalani’s horror comedy film titled ‘Bhoot Police’ alongside Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam. The film is scheduled for release on 10 September 2021.

He will also feature in Mohit Suri’s action thriller film ‘Ek Villain Returns’ along with John Abraham, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani in lead roles. The movie is scheduled for worldwide cinema release on 11 February 2022.

Arjun is also a part of Kaashvie Nair’s upcoming film titled ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ co-starring Rakul Preet Singh, Soni Razdan, Neena Gupta, Divya Seth Shah. It will have a Netflix release.
