Bollywood actress Kajol Devgn Known for her straight forward nature, has stated that she does not pay much attention to pay parity. In fact she believes that it is the audience who has the power to change the way the economics work in the industry.

Kajol has also expressed that if the filmmakers make women-oriented films or films led by women, earn huge amounts of money at the box office then things would surely change and this pay parity won’t exist. Furthermore, she even added that nowadays filmmakers are making films on all kinds of subjects and they are working so even the audience needs to let a women-oriented film earn Rs 200-300 crore in the domestic circuit.

Kajol is currently busy prepping for her upcoming release ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’. The movie is a biographical period action film starring Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Jagapathi Bapu and Sharad Kelkar in the lead roles. Directed by Om Raut, produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar. The film is set in the 17th century and based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, who was the military leader of king Shivaji. The film is scheduled to release in 3D on 10 January 2020.
