Manushi Chillar join forces with PETA on this Earth Day turns vegetarian, also urge everyone to ditch meat on the occasion.
Beauty Queen and aspiring actor Manushi Chhillar features in a new campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), India, that encourages everyone In the campaign.
Manushi took to her social media profile and shared, “For me, staying vegetarian was a personal choice that I made long back. I also wanted to concentrate on how that impacts my overall fitness. Food is a personal choice and we must eat what we feel is best for us, but my friends at PETA India and I encourage everyone to give being vegetarian a try for Earth Day and beyond if they so choose,” Manushi said.
The debutante joins Kartik Aaryan, Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor, and many other celebrities who’ve teamed up with PETA India to promote healthy, humane meat-free meals.
Meanwhile on the work front, Manushi is busy with her debut movie, Prithviraj, also starring Akshay Kumar.
The period drama is directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. Based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, it features Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan while Manushi Chhillar, playing his love interest and beloved wife Sanyogita.
The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij and Lalit Tiwari in other important characters. It is now scheduled to release in theatres on 5 November 2021 coinciding with Diwali.
