Thalapathy Vijay’s Son, Jason Sanjay, To Make His Directorial Debut; Announces Lyca Production

Thalapathy Vijay’s son, Jason Sanjay, is ready to make his directorial debut under Lyca Production. The production house made an official announcement by dropping a series of pictures, today. Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut with the leading production has made the headlines. This unexpected news has come as a sudden excitement amidst fans.

Lyca Productions made it official by sharing the pictures features him along with the Chairman of the production house, Subaskaran, and the caption read, “We are beyond excited & proud to introduce @jason.sanjay_official in his Directorial Debut. We wish him a career filled with success & contentment, carrying forward the legacy!” The young filmmaker, Jason Sanjay, also shared it as story on his Instagram handle.

Stepping into the direction, Jason Sanjay pursued a Film Production Diploma at Toronto Film School, and then completed his BA (Hons) in Screenwriting in London. He is the eldest son of Actor Vijay and Sangeetha. Meanwhile, Thalapathy Vijay also mentioned Jason’s interest in direction earlier. This was actually cue for his entry into the industry which was under process. Finally, it is official now! Therefore, Jason Sanjay’s directorial debut will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions and we shall expect more updates in the future.

On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay is on his post-production work for his upcoming film, Leo. Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film features Vijay, Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan and Mysskin in pivotal roles. The action drama is all set to release on 19th October 2023.
