Bappi Lahiri and Udit Narayan have worked together in many movies. Bappi’s first Bengali film Daadu released in 1969 and the composer, with his later works, popularised the disco genre in Bollywood.
The duo is again collaborating in the first reality show of its kind, Jammin. Jammin is a platform where biggest composers of the music industry share a stage with the talented musicians of the digital space.
At the press conference of ‘Jammin’ season 3, Udit Narayan was seen irresistibly lauding Bappi Lahiri, he said, “Heartiest congratulation to Bappi Lahiri on completing 50 years in industry. His pattern of work is really appreciating. Till today he is entertaining us, it’s a very big thing. He has worked with many superstars, but I must say he himself is a megastar. I really pray that he lives for more than 100 years. In addition, I want to express that till this earth exist, his name is immortal.
Bappi Lahiri is currently elated to have sung a Marathi song in director Sanjay Jadhav’s Luckee, with music by Pankaj Padghan. The film is scheduled to release on February 7.
