Annamalai Kuppusamy Attends We Can School for Autism’s 25th Anniversary in Chennai

Chennai: BJP leader and former IPS officer Annamalai Kuppusamy attended the 25th anniversary celebrations of We Can School for Autism in Chennai, where he spent time with children with special needs and acknowledged the efforts of the organisation, its teachers and parents.

Sharing his experience on social media, Annamalai expressed his delight at being part of the milestone celebration and highlighted the organisation’s long-standing work in supporting children with special needs.

He particularly commended Dr Gita Sankaran, the founder of We Can School for Autism, for building the institution from the ground up and dedicating 25 years to the cause.

Annamalai also praised the teachers associated with the organisation for their continued commitment to educating children with special needs. He acknowledged their efforts in creating an environment where children can learn, develop and access opportunities with dignity.

The role of parents was also highlighted during the occasion. Annamalai recognised the continued efforts of parents who work to ensure their children receive greater exposure, opportunities and the dignity they deserve.

The 25th anniversary celebration marked an important milestone for We Can School for Autism, bringing together the school community and highlighting its journey of supporting children with special needs over the past two and a half decades.
