After a long wait, finally, the much-awaited and smart trailer of Shakuntala Devi is here and this tale is nothing but sublime and downright intelligent.

Helmed by Anu Menon, the story revolves around the journey of the real-life genius Shakuntala Devi, known as ‘human-computer’ and ‘mental calculator’ for her ability to make incredibly swift calculations on her fingertips.
The movie will also see other stars like Sanya Malhotra and Jisshu Sengupta in supporting roles.
The trailer opens with a quirky Vidya who charms with her funny antics as she introduces the viewers to her best friend ‘math’. She finds magic and happiness in maths. The trailer goes on to show a glimpse of her journey from being a child prodigy.
It also throws light on her personal life as she struggles to juggle between math and bringing up her daughter, played by Sanya Malhotra. The bittersweet relationship of the mother-daughter duo hints at the tonnes of drama that the film promises.
Shakuntala Devi’ will be released on July 31 on Amazon Prime.
