Farhan Akhtar And Shibani Dandekar Turns Muse For Payal Singhal
Filmmaker and actor Farhan Akhtar and his model Shibani Dhandekar turned muse to designer Payal Singhal for the on-going Lakme Fashion Week 2019.
Designer Payal brought Bollywood’s favourite couple, Shibani Dandekar (who is Payal’s favourite muse) and her beau the very handsome Farhan Akhtar in the most glamorous and bohemian style on the ramp walk.
The pair looked ultra-stylish in coordinated ecru creations. Shibani looked dazzling in a georgette lehenga and choli topped with a tasselled, 3D embellished cropped blouse; while Farhan looked totally dashing in a printed kurta, churidars and dupatta. The ensembles were splashed with exciting neon wool, floral zardosi work as Shibani and Farhan strutted down the catwalk in perfect unison.
Payal Singhal’s celebratory 20th anniversary collection had strong versatile vibes that emphasised the profile of the range, which will move effortlessly from Indian soirées to international Red-Carpet nights or destination weddings.
Meanwhile on the work front, Farhan Akhtar is prepping for his next outing, Toofan and waiting the release of The Sky Is Pink.
After playing sprinter in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, multi talented powerhouse Farhan Akhtar is prepping to slip into the character of a boxer by teaming up with the director, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra once again in his most anticipated upcoming movie, Toofan.
The film will be a “heartfelt story of a boxer” – Toofan will be bankrolled by Akhtar and Riteish Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ROMP Pictures.
