​I Miss You Mom, Happy Birthday Says Sanjay Dutt

Actor Sanjay Dutt just took to his social media profile and shared a heartfelt note and video remembering his mother, Nargis, on her 91st Birthday.

Late legendary actor Nargis, whose real name was Fatima Rashid, was born on June 1, 1929. Today marks the 91st birth anniversary of one of the finest actors Nargis Dutt who died at the age of 51 in 1981 due to pancreatic cancer.

Nargis married actor Sunil Dutt after working with him in Mother India. They had three children – Sanjay, Namrata, and Priya.

Actor Sanjay Dutt just took to his social media and shared the video. The caption read, “Happy Birthday Ma, miss you”

The video is a compilation of the most iconic roles and looks of Nargis Ji. She was best known for her classic roles in 1957’s Mother India, 1951’s Awara, 1967’s Raat Aur Din, and 1955’s Shree 420. She won the National Film Award for her role in Raat Aur Din in 1968. She was the first film actress to conferred by the Government of India with the Padma Shri title, the fourth highest civilian award in 1958.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Dutt would feature alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor in Shamshera, which will release on 31 July 2020.

Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt are currently shooting for Sadak 2. He also joined the cast of historical film Bhuj: The Pride of India, which will feature an ensemble cast consisting of Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, and Parineeti Chopra.
