Actress Rakul Preet Singh says she is overwhelmed with the response De De Pyaar De got and now she is excited about Marjaavaan, as it will feature her in a whole different avatar.
During her recent media interaction during an educational promotional event, Rakul Preet was asked about her last release and forthcoming multi starrer Marjaavaan.
She said, “I am really very excited for Marjaavaan and I am really very overwhelmed by the response we got for De De Pyaar De. So this makes me even more excited to share Marjaavaan with audience as it is a completely different role”
“From what Ayesha was in De De Pyaar De, forthcoming Marjaavaan is very different. I have not done anything like that before and I don’t think anyone has done such role in last couple of years in cinema. So I am super excited and hope people like this one as well” added Rakul.
Marjaavaan is directed by Milap Zaveri, also starring Ritesh Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra, and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles. The film is a violent, dramatic love story.
The film will clash with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starring War on 2nd October.
So when asked about the clash, Rakul said, “See that is something for the producers to decide. We just have to promote the film”.
With friendship Day around the corner, Rakul says she is grateful to have friends, as they are really important. She said, “Your personality reflects that kind of people you choose to hang with, your friends are very important. In my life, my friends play a very important role. I am blessed to have some really amazing friends, with ups and downs of life they are my unwinding”
“I have friends some school, college and luckily some from film industry. People should really value their friends”.
Rakul has an interesting line up for releases across different languages. Apart from Marjaavaan, she is also part of SK 14, Manmadhudu 2 and Indian 2.
