Troubled comedian-actor Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa finally takes a sigh of relief, as they made bail in drug possession case yesterday evening.
Last week, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had put a raid on comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s house. The couple was then taken to the NCB office for interrogation, where they accepted to have consumed ‘Ganja’.
As per reports, Bharti said she would voluntarily use the ‘ganja’ made by her husband Haarsh. She was then taken under 14-day judicial custody on Saturday, while Haarsh was arrested on Sunday. The couple, who were waiting to see their act on ‘India’s Best Dancer’ finale then, arrested.
On Monday, both Bharti and Haarsh received bail. While there has been no spotting of Haarsh yet, Bharti was seen outside jail a few hours after the Bombay High Court granted her bail in the case.
A drug peddler had named Bharti and Haarsh while investigation in Bollywood drugs nexus case.
For the uninformed, the case had come to light after NCB conducted a parallel investigation of drugs angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. They came across witnesses who testified that a few entities in Bollywood consume drugs.
