Talking about wide range of work she has been doing as an actor, Samikssha said, “In 2018, I did a film called ‘Hey Ram Hamne Gandhi Ko Maar Diya’ and that was a critically acclaimed film and I got really good reviews for performance in that film. Recently, I have completed shooting of two films; one of them is called ‘Dhadke Dil Baar Baar’ which is a love story and the other one is a thriller film called ‘Black Rose’ in which I am playing role of a police officer, so I am feeling fortunate that I am getting opportunities to do various kind of roles and I am playing those characters in different manner.”

Initially, Samikssha started her career by acting in television soaps and later, she featured in films such as ‘Calendar Girls’, ‘Poster Boys’ and ‘Hey Ram Hamne Gandhi Ko Maar Diya’.

Talking about her upcoming web series ‘Jo Hukum Mere Aaka’ in which she is sharing screen space with Shreyas Talpade and Krushna Abhishek, Samikssha said, “I have just finished shooting of a web series named ‘Zindagi Reset 1’. Now, I am shooting for another web series named ‘Jo Hukum Mere Aaka’. It is being directed by Rajiv Ruia. It’s an out and out comedy series and I am really enjoying working with Shreyas Talpade and Krushna Abhishek on screen and off the screen as well.”

Shreyas Talpade and Krushna Abhishek are well known comic actors, sharing her experience working with both of them, Samikssha said, “I am getting to learn a lot from them. I have already worked with Shreyas (Talpade) ji in ‘Poster Boys’, so I know his working style and this is the first time I am working with Krushna (Abhishek) but being a theatre actor, I am feeling confident that I can perform with him as well. The best part is both of them are very cooperative actors. “

She added, “When you are doing a comedy show then it is all about the timing and if you fail there then everything goes in vain. Our director (Rajiv Ruia) gives us so much liberty while we are shooting the show. I think if the actor gets freedom then he or she can do his or her job really well.”
