Actress-model Gauahar Khan is now married to her boyfriend Zaid Darbar. The two have tied the knot in the traditional nikaah ceremony, which took place on Friday, on the eve of Christmas.
The duo has been breaking the internet for the last couple of days with their pre-wedding photos and videos. After the rituals, they posed for the paparazzi and looked like a match made in heaven. Zaid Darbar is a professional choreographer and the son of music composer Ismail Darbar.
Sharing the pictures of her wedding ceremony on Instagram, Gauahar wrote, “QUBOOL HAI. @zaid_darbar”.
For the wedding, Gauahar opted for a white and gold sharara outfit with statement jewelry while Zaid complimented her in a sherwani. The couple looked gorgeous and much in love.
Gauahar’s friends from the television and film industry such as Hina Khan, Nisha Rawal, Shalmali Kholgade, Sophie Choudry, Elli AvrRam, Sugandha Mishra, Tony Kakkar, Onir and many others congratulated the couple on the special occasion in the comment section.
Gauahar has been treating fans with her pre-wedding pictures on Instagram. On Thursday, she posted images of her mehndi decorated hands and revealed that she is wearing an outfit gifted to her by her brother four years ago. The actress chose a traditional yellow colour outfit with zari work for her mehndi ceremony. She completed her bridal look with golden danglers and minimal makeup, and a zari dupatta covering her head.
“Mehendi ki raat aayi! Thanking my jaan, my brother @asaadzkhan for the lovely gift that I’m wearing which was given to me 4 years back! You couldn’t make it to the wedding but the love surely did! It’s so special to wear the blessings you have sent me on my big day. This is for you Asabhai and @sabreen.a.jan,” she wrote as the caption.
Gauahar was recently seen as a ‘senior’ in ‘Bigg Boss 14’ alongside Sidharth Shukla and Hina. She spent two weeks inside the house and acted as a mentor to the contestants. She won the seventh season of the popular reality show.
Gauahar Khan will next be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s political drama web series tited ‘Tandav’ with an ensemble cast. It will stream on Amazon Prime Videos from 15th January, 2021.
