Shekhar Kapur as a director has given us some cult movies. From his directorial film ‘Masoom’ in 1982 to ‘Mr India’ and ‘Bandit Queen’, each of his films is worth a watch! From Bollywood to Hollywood, he has made a name and audience look upto his work. Films and stories run in his blood and the director recently shared his thoughts on the same.

The filmmaker took to his twitter account and wrote, “Lessons of life: Great Stories, or films, are those that are constantly alive. Each time you see them you find much that you didn’t see before. Great films don’t die, they just grow with you.”

Well, his words truly hold a deeper meaning. Great films and stories are always alive in the hearts and mind of the audience. Every time we see them, they offer us something new. Each of us have some special movies that we can watch any number of times and each time these films furnish us with new experiences.

Shekhar Kapur has recently been in the news post the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput because of his shelved film ‘Paani’. The director and the late actor had worked together on the project before it was shelved by Yash Raj Films. Post Sushant’s demise, the director has expressed his desire to make this film as a tribute to him.

The film ‘Paani’ depicts the scenario many years into the future, where the supply of water on earth has run out, which results into the events and a war like situation.
