There are many ways to celebrate the World Heritage Day – You could visit monuments and sites or conservation works in progress, you could write articles in newspapers, magazines and spreading knowledge on the problem via television and radio broadcasts, you could invite local and foreign experts and personalities for conferences and interviews or you could organize discussions in cultural centers, city halls, and other public spaces or attend exhibitions on photos and paintings.
You could inaugurate a recently restored monument or campaigning special awareness activities amongst school children and youth. However, one of the best ways to celebrate this particular International Day is to awarding prizes to organizations or persons who have made an outstanding contribution to the conservation and promotion of the cultural heritage or who produced an amazing publication on the subject.
