Automobile enthusiast Vivek Oberio graced the 7th Edition of Mid-Day Auto Expo in Mumbai and shares his love for cars, bikes and futuristic ambitions to venture into Electric Cars.
Amidst of new-normal and proper precautions, Mid-Day has kicked-started the 7th Edition of Auto-Expo in Mumbai with Vivek Oberoi stepping up to lend support.
Talking about attending Automobile Expo, Vivek said, “I am huge automobile junkie, I love cars and motorbikes. You all know it now as well, because I made headlines recently for my bike incident. I also appreciate the fact the media houses, Mid Day and Jagran, trying to put in some efforts to organize such events, and I just wanted to lend a helping hand to automobile industry and media”
Further adding Vivek expressed his desire of venture into Electric car start-ups as he believes that India will soon be a big hub for green technology.
He said, “I wanted to get involved with Electric Vehicles. I am involved with many start-ups as co-founder and chief strategic officer and some electric vehicle companies are in talks with me about the same. Electric motor-bikes, electric superbikes, cars and electric commercial vehicles, I think Hindustan is going to become a big hub for green technology. If you look at the market, India has stepped-up hugely in-terms of solar power and international solar alliance, so I see the future is clean, green and Indian”
When asked about petrol price sky-rocketing in India, electric car would be necessary. He said, “With petrol price hiking, I think future is electric cars and if this happens, trust me it would be hugely beneficial for India, because the sun shines the brightest here. We can be world leaders in solar power. The solar power driven electricity price is on the hike in the world market, but it’s getting cheaper in India”
With theaters re-opening, Vivek wishes that all films get to release and make some money as box-office.
He said, “I wish and pray that movies get to release in theaters and do good business. Roohi recently released and got appreciated, now Mumbai Saga is about to release, my best wishes to my friends John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi and Sanjay Gupta. I might catch a screening of the movie as I am invited”
Talking about his future projects, Vivke added, “Inside Edge 3’s promotion will being soon and in next quarter we will release it as well on Amazon Prime.”
