With pollution on the rise, Jay Thakkar decided to take the Eco-Friendly Ganpati celebration to a whole new level.
During Ganpati Visarjan, Jay Thakkar interacted with media and said, “Like always this year too we had taken an Eco-friendly Ganpati Idol and gave it an Eco-farewell by submerging it inside a bucket full of water. Later, when the idol got dissolved inside the water, I took that muddy water and poured it onto the plants and trees of my complex’s garden, so now I can proudly say that not only I took an Eco-friendly Ganpati but I also truly saved my water bodies from getting polluted from Visarjan”
“I watered my trees and plants, did no noise, air or water pollution and helped in a better sustainable development of nature. I think as a responsible Eco-warrior, I can do simple things, if not anything else”
