With Valentine’s Day coming up, love in the air and cupid possibly around the corner, Flipkart Video is set to introduce its latest interactive show, Dating Aaj Kal, hosted by silver screen heartthrob Karan Kundrra. Set to launch on the 13th of February, the show promises to combine the playfulness of online dating with the charm of old school romance in a way unlike ever before. While playing host, Karan will also be seen helping 10 beautiful girls find their perfect match.
Spanning 30 episodes, the show takes viewers on a journey wherein every three episodes, one girl interacts with five charming boys. Throughout the series, each of the boys will be seen going through five fun yet competitive rounds, trying to woo their way into the girls heart. The first round called Voice Note gives the girl an opportunity to rate the five boys based on their 30-second introduction. In the second round, Aamne Saamne, the girl is introduced to the boys behind the voice and given 10-seconds to choose the ones who make it to the next round. The show then progresses to Round 3, Speed Dating, where each boy gets a chance to chat with the girl, while making sure she is still interested. This is followed by a Group Date wherein host Karan Kundrra unexpectedly presents the girl with secrets about each of the three boys, and the way they tackle these revelations will decide who makes it to the final round. Basis the girls decision, the most impressive boys head to the most coveted round, The Final Date – a romantic and intimate chance to form a connection.
Through each of the rounds, Karan Kundrra will be seen playing love guru, mentoring the girls and boys who are on the lookout for their perfect match. Audiences tuning in can jump right in and actively be a part of the fast and furious love stories by guessing the girls’ decision at different stages and have the exciting opportunity to win phenomenal prizes.
