Maintaining The Balance Of Acting And Overacting In A Thriller Is Challenging Says Amyra Dastur

Amyra Dastur stars in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and International films. The actress is soon going to be seen opposite Kunal Kapoor in the film ‘Koi Jaane Na’ which is directed by Amin Hajee. The film which is a thriller is all set to release on 2 April and the actress spoke to News Helpline about the film and much more.

Talking about the film, she said, “I first got the narration of the film and when Amin told me this character is the murderer, I was shocked. The way the film has been written it is amazing. It’s a thriller which will hook you on to your seats till the end. “

Aamir Khan recently watched the film in a special screening and he shared a good response about the film. Talking about the same, she said, “After the film ended, Aamir sir said it was amazing. He loved our performances and I think we couldn’t ask for more.”

Sharing about her character in the film, she said, “I play the character of a girl called Suhana who is very adventurous. She is a very happy-go-lucky girl who has a dark past.”

What was the most challenging part for her during the film, she said, “In a thriller movie, to maintain the balance between acting and overacting is very challenging. If you have to be scared, you have to find the balance that it should not look like overacting to the audience and it should also not look fake”

Amyra’s social media posts are what her fans look out to. Talking about them, she said, “I plan my shoots very carefully. Social media is huge now so we have to do new things to engage your fans. You have to set yourself apart from others. So a lot of thinking goes behind all my shoots and posts.”
