Modelling Landscape Is Changing, All Shape And Size Are Welcome Now Says Urvashi Rautela

Urvashi Rautela who started her career as model and later turned to acting, says appreciate the changing landscape of modelling, where all shape and size girls are allowed. Actress Urvashi Rautela was interacting with media on the sidelines of Ebixcash Autumn Winter 2020 Female Model Auditions, where she acted as a judge.

Talking about her changing landscape of modelling and her days as model, Urvashi said, “When I was doing modelling fat girls were not allowed. But now the kind of acceptance they have got, it’s really nice. I think it’s all about women empowering, all shapes and sizes of girls are allowed to do ramp walk. I completely support this thought”

Further adding, Urvashi said her journey has been quite fulfilling. She said, “From a contestant to judge, my journey has been quite fulfilling. I am grateful to the people who have helped me to reach till here. They have supported me and have shown great amount of faith in me. Today I am the judge; in future anyone from these girls will be a judge”

Talking about the initiative and parameters she will be looking at while judging the contestants and tips for aspiring models, Urvashi said, “I am really happy to be the judge. Today it’s a model hunt we are selecting the best model. The girls have come from all over India to showcase their talent. I think it’s a great platform for them. I completely relate to them. Even I have done the same thing and this reminded me my old days”

“I just want to say that practice as much as you can and work on your looks and personality. Walk the ramp with confidence and understand all kinds of ramp-walks. The most important thing they should be very comfortable on ramp and be confident” added Urvashi.

Meanwhile on the work front, Urvashi was last seen in Pagalpanti, helmed by Anees Bazmee, the film starred Anil Kapoor, John Abraham, Ileana D’Cruz, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles.
