Lockdown has curtailed the curtains of the theatrical experience for the audience and in such a scenario, OTT platforms have been entertaining people with in-numerous options of new web shows, short films, and movies. ZEE5 is leaving no stone unturned in bringing good and entertaining stuff for its viewers and now for all Nawazuddin fans here comes a big treat. His film Ghoomketu will make its premiere on 22nd May only on ZEE5 Premium.
‘Ghoomketu’ is an extraordinary story of a not so ordinary storyteller. It revolves around the story of an aspiring writer from a small town in UP who after a failed attempt to get a job in a local newspaper runs away to Mumbai. Here he gives himself 30 days to try and prove his worth. The next 30 days of his life are full of humorous incidents and anecdotes.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui essays the lead role of Ghoomketu in the film. It also features Richa Chadha, Ragini Khanna, Anurag Kashyap, Raghubir Yadav, Ila Arun, and Swanand Kirkire. The film has special appearances made by Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, and Sonakshi Sinha. The film is directed by Pushpendra Nath Mishra. People who loved Nawaz for his superb comic timing in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ are surely going to love the film as once again the actor will be seen in a comic role.
On the work front, Nawazuddin was last seen in the film ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ which did not do well at the box office. He will now be seen in the film ‘Bole Chudiyan’ which also stars actress Tamannaah Bhatia alongside him.
