Director, producer Goldie Behl who made his digital debut with ZEE5”s ‘RejctX’ last year deems that amid lockdown OTT is the most appropriate platform to keep people amused. Feeling happy for Shoojit and Anu, Goldie lends his full support for their films ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ and ‘Shakuntala Devi’ releasing on OTT platforms.
Goldie talking on the same said, “Absolutely it’s a good time to watch on OTT because this is the right time to catch up on the series which we have missed. I really feel wonderful that producers and directors are able to display their contents on OTT as the theatres have been shut. I am also feeling glad for Shoojit and Anu as their movies are coming up on digital space and they have my complete support. I am happy that they could do this because I can understand the kind of headache and stress the producer goes through after making a film. And as a filmmaker, the only criteria are to reach the audience as fast as they can. So, if OTT is the medium, I think it’s good.”
Sharing about his daily routine in the course of lockdown, Goldie said, “Since the lockdown has started, I was quite busy doing post-production work for ‘Rejctx 2’, so my entire lockdown went into that. And simultaneously I was also pitching other shows for other platforms. So, I have been really busy. Apart from this I am also doing meditation and walking to keep myself fit. I am also spending time with my son, trying to know him better, his likings, and penchants.”
About ‘Rejctx’, It is a crime web series on Zee5. The streaming platform is back with Rejctx season 2. The musical web series has grabbed the attention of viewers while keeping them quite curious with its twists and thrill. The release of RejectX Season 2 was announced before the commencement of the first season.
The second season of the show started streaming on May 14. It stars Sumeet Vyas, Kubbra Sait, Anisha Victor, Ahmed Masi Wali, and Ridhi Khakhar.
