Actress Parineeti Chopra, who will next be seen in well known shuttler Saina Nehwal’s biopic titled ‘Saina’, has unveiled an inspirational song from the film named ‘Parinda’ on Saturday on social media. The lyrics of the song are written by Manoj Muntashir and it is sung and composed by Amaal Mallik.

The song shows glimpses from the movie based on professional Badminton player Saina Nehwal’s life. The video starts off with Saina’s (Parineeti Chopra) first day at her academy. Saina’s coach Pullela Gopichand, played by Manav Kaul giving a speech on creating champions at his academy. He discovers Saina’s talent and grooms her to play at the national level. In the video, Saina is seen practising hard in the badminton court with sheer determination. At one point Pullela Gopichand explains the importance of sacrifices to Saina for winning the game.
‘Saina’ is directed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj and Rashesh Shah under the banner of T-Series and Front Foot Pictures. The film scheduled to have a theatrical release on 26 March 2021.
Apart from ‘Saina’, Parineeti will feature in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ along with Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The film is slated to release on Dusshera 2022.
Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ will have theatrical release on 19 March 2021.
