Priyanka Chopra celebrates 2 years of the special day when her singer husband Nick Jonas bends the knee and asked her to marry him.
On 20th July 2018, singer Nick Jonas got down on his knee and popped the question to Priyanka Chopra, and of course, she said yes! Soon after this, Nick flew down to India with his parents, and the couple officially announced their engagement with a traditional ‘roka’ ceremony in India amid friends and family in 2018. Later, the same year, the couple tied the knot on December 2 following Hindu and Christian wedding ceremonies.
Priyanka Chopra just took to her social media profile and wrote, “To the greatest joy of my life. 2 years ago on this day you asked me to marry you! I may have been speechless then but I say yes every moment of every day since. In the most unprecedented time, you made this weekend so incredibly memorable. Thank you for thinking of me all the time. I am the luckiest girl in the world! I love you @nickjonas”
Needless to say, Nick Jonas’s reply to Peecee’s post is equally sweet, he wrote, “Thank you for saying yes. I love you beautiful”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Chopra will next star in two films for Netflix: an adaptation of Aravind Adiga’s satirical novel The White Tiger and Robert Rodriguez’s superhero film We Can Be Heroes.
She will also star alongside Richard Madden in Prime Video’s thriller series Citadel, and she has been cast in an undisclosed role in The Matrix 4. She will also star as the spiritual guru and convicted criminal Ma Anand Sheela in Barry Levinson’s Sheela, a film she will produce for Amazon Studios.
