Radhika Madan celebrates one year of ‘Angrezi Medium’; says father-daughter emotional drama film changed her life

Actress Radhika Madan, who featured in ‘Angrezi Medium’ alongside late veteran actor Irrfan Khan, celebrated one year of critically acclaimed emotional drama film on social media on Saturday. The film revolved around life of a father and his daughter who want to study abroad and achieve her dreams. It also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Deepak Dobriyal and Pankaj Tripathi in key roles. In a heartfelt post, Radhika added saying that the film changed her life.

Radhika shared the video on her Instagram handle, showing three clips from the film. The movie was the last film that featured the late actor Irrfan Khan before his demise in April 2020. The film is also one of the important films in Radhika Madan’s career, as she was widely praised for her performance in the film. Radhika wrote in her caption, “1 year to the film that changed my life #AngreziMedium “.

‘Angrezi Medium’ was the last film to release in theatres before the nationwide lockdown was announced. The movie ran in theatres for around one and a half-day before the theatres and multiplexes were shutdown. Less than a month after its theatrical release, the film was then premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, it is a sequel to the 2017 hit ‘Hindi Medium’.

On the work front, Radhika Madan’s upcoming movies include 2 Netflix originals. She recently shared a social media post stating that the audience will get to meet Avani in the movie ‘Feels Like Ishq’ co-starring Amol Parashar. While she would also be portraying the role of Divya didi in the anthology film ‘Ray’ co-starring Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor.

Radhika will also feature in Kunal Deshmukh’s romantic drama film ‘Shiddat’ along with Sunny Kaushal, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty in lead roles.
