After a long wait, finally, Ram Gopal Varma unveils the first look poster of a movie based on the rape and murder case of a veterinary doctor in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana.
The film is titled Disha Encounter, the first look is out, the trailer will be out on September 26th and makers are planning to release the real-life based story on 26th November 2020.
Ram Gopal Varma took to his social media profile and wrote back to back three tweets and shared the first look.
He started with, “DISHA gang rape and murder on NOVEMBER 26th 2019 shocked the whole country when 4 guys in a Lorry targeted a Scooty driving young woman and brutalized her crossing the upper limits in crime history of India”

Helmed by Varma, the film based on true events is produced by Anurag Kancharia.
The veterinarian was gang-raped and killed allegedly by the accused before they burnt her body in Telangana’s Shamshabad on November 27. Her charred body was recovered a day later.
