Rana Daggubati unveils first look of Discovery Plus Original’s ‘Mission Frontline With Rana Daggubati’

Actor Rana Daggubati unveiled the first look of his upcoming show on Discovery Plus Original’s titled ‘Mission Frontline With Rana Daggubati’ on social media on Thursday. Daggubati will embed himself with Jaisalmer’s Border Security Force and live the life of a soldier in ‘Mission Frontline’.

Sharing the first look of the show on his Instagram handle, Rana wrote, “It was an experience of a lifetime spending a day with and as a BSF Jawan in Jaisalmer. Stories of war & first-hand experiences have left a mark on me and I shall cherish them forever. Thank you @discoveryplusin for Mission Frontline! #IndiaKeLiye #DiscoveryPlusOriginal”.

Rana’s fans and colleagues from the film industry such as Shruti Haasan and Shraddha Srinath congratulated him for his new show in the comment section.

Other than that, Discovery Plus Original is offering two more shows for the Indian audience. Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Secrets of Sinauli: Discovery of the Century’ will be hosted by Manoj Bajpayee and it will look at the excavations of the Uttar Pradesh village Sinauli. The series has been made in collaboration with Archeological Survey of India.

Randeep Hooda will voice ‘Ladakh Warriors: The Sons of the Soil’, out December 9 on Discovery+. It focuses on the training of the “Snow Warriors” who guard the high-altitude border between India and China.

Discovery+ serves India in eight languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi.

On personal front, Rana Daggubati got married to his lady love Miheeka Bajaj in a traditional wedding ceremony on August 8 this year in Hyderabad.

On film front, Rana Daggubati has resumed shooting of Telugu film ‘Virata Parvam’ which is directed by Venu Udugula. It also stars Sai Pallavi, Priya Mani and Nandita Das in key roles.

Rana Daggubati is also waiting for the release of ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’, directed by Prabhu Solomon. The film was scheduled to have a worldwide release on April 2. However, it got postponed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
