It’s raining release dates in Bollywood! Last year no movie could release owing to covid but 2021 has started with a bang! Makers are finally coming back to the cinemas with their movies. The much awaited Kabir Khan’s film ’83’ starring Ranveer Singh has finally got a release date. The film will hit the cinemas on 4th June.
Sharing the big news with his fans, Ranveer Singh wrote,”June, 4th 2021!! in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. See you in cinemas!!”
Film ’83’ is a sports drama film directed by Kabir Khan. The film will focus on the country’s incredible cricket World Cup victory in 1983. Film stars Ranveer Singh as cricketer Kapil Dev. It also features Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Sahil Khattar, Nishant Dahiya and Amrita Puri.
The film which was scheduled to release last year was getting postponed again and again owing to Covid restrictions. Finally the film is coming to the theatres on 4 June in five languages. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will also be seen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar which stars Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah. The film will release on 27th August, 2021. The film is directed by Divyang Thakkar.
He will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus which also stars Jacqueline Fernandes and Pooja Hegde. Ranveer will be playing a double role in the film.
