Richa Chadha known for her conventional roles has nailed each of her role onscreen. Her performances have been received well both by the audience and the critics and she is known to make smart choices with her onscreen characters. The ‘Fukrey’ actress will soon be seen in ‘Shakeela’ which is going to release this Christmas.
Sharing a hot poster of her upcoming film, Richa shared,”Shakeela ki Kahaani Meri Zubaani’ Here’s the #ShakeelaPoster. The film was to release in the summer but couldn’t due to the pandemic, so now for on Christmas!”
In the poster, one can see Richa in a glamorous hot avatar cladded in a red sari with a gun in her hand. Behind her in the poster, one can read number of taunts which are aiming at her skin color and weight.
Film ‘Shakeela’ will portray the life of an adult actor from Kerala who was one of the biggest stars of 1990’s and acted in several adult languages. It will showcase her life of how she was born in a conservative Muslim family and what made her opt for a career in adult films at the age of 16.
The film is directed by Indrajit Lankesh and stars Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi and Malayalam actor Rajeev Pillai. It is produced by Sammy Nanwani and Sahil Nanwani.
The film was scheduled to release this summer but is finally hitting the cinemas on 25th December, 2020.
Richa will also be seen in Kunal Kohli’s ‘Lahore Confidential’ which revolves around the life of a divorced Indian woman who is sent for an Intelligence duty in Pakistan. It will showcase thrilling love story of two spies who will be at tug of war with each other. The film will release on 11 December on ZEE5.
