A biopic based on medal-winning shooter-duo, Saand Ki Aankh, starring Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu, will release the first official trailer of the film on coming 23rd September.
The film is helmed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Anurag Kashyap, Reliance Entertainment and Nidhi Parmar. The film also stars Prakash Jha and Vineet Kumar Singh in the main lead.
Actress Bhumi Pednekar just dropped a stunning new teaser for the film and confirmed the deeds on the trailer release. In the teaser, sporting local attire and special make-up to look the part, Taapsee and Bhumi have grown into the skin of their characters of Chandro and Prakashi Tomar, two octogenarian sharpshooters from Uttar Pradesh’s Johri village in Baghpat district, on whom the biographical drama is based.
Bhumi and Pannu trained in air pistol and rifle shooting to reprise the role of a sharpshooter in the film.
It is slated to release on 25 October 2019
