The track is an inspirational number capturing the dedication and grit Saina Nehwal displayed in her journey to becoming the world’s best badminton player. Parineeti Chopra stars in the title role, and the music video shows the actor at various stages of Saina’s career — from intense training sessions with her coach, to representing India on the world stage.
Amole Gupte directorial Saina is based on the life of Badminton player Saina Nehwal. The film is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jairaj and Rashesh Shah under the banner of T-Series and Front Foot Pictures.
The film was initially set to release in September 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. It is now scheduled to have a theatrical release on 26 March 2021.
