Actress Saiyami Kher just dropped the first look poster and release date of a movie titled Choked, its been helmed by Anurag Kashyap and will release on 5th June.
Saiyami shared the first look on her social media profile and wrote, “Only @anuragkashyap72 could have imagined me like this & backed me up! Pleasure starring opp the fabulous Roshan Matthew. Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming Netflix film, Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai will stream on 5th June. The suspense drama stars Saiyami Kher and Roshan Mathew in the lead roles.
Choked is written by Nihit Bhave. Set in Mumbai, the story centers on Sarita Pillai (Saiyami), a bank cashier who finds an unlimited source of money in her kitchen. Her husband, Sushant (Roshan), is a struggling musician with dreams of making it big. The film follows their journey through the balance of power and greed.
Choked is Anurag’s fourth outing with Netflix. He had previously co-directed both seasons of Sacred Games, in addition to his segments in Lust Stories (2018) and Ghost Stories (2020).
