Actress Sandhya Mridul, who recently featured in ALT Balaji web series titled ‘Mentalhood’, has won an award at SCREENXX award ceremony for her negative role in the family drama web series. Sandhya expressed her happiness and thanked her co-actors from the web series on social media on Saturday.
Sandhya played character of Anuja Joshi aka Ajo in ‘Mentalhood’. Taking to her Instagram handle, Sandhya wrote, “She’s highly flawed and all about awards. So. ‘Mentalhood’ explores the multitasking nature of different types of mothers and their ways in leading the best upbringing of their children.
It also featured Karisma Kapoor, Dino Morea, Sanjay Suri, Shilpa Shukla, Shruti Seth, Tillotama Shome and Amrita Puri in important roles.
‘Mentalhood’ scooped total 4 awards at SCREENXX award ceremony. Karisma Kapoor, who made her digital debut, bagged the Popular Jodi in Web Originals (Drama) with actor Sanjay Suri for their brilliant performance as a couple in the show.
Sandhya Mridul won the award for Popular Actor (Female) in a negative role in Web Originals (Drama) along with Shilpa Shukla, who bagged the Popular Actor (Female) in a supporting role in Web Originals (Drama) award. The cherry on the cake came in the form of the show winning the award for Best Marketing Campaign Launch for Web Series.
