Vidya Balan Educates Audience About ‘Afwah Virus’

Our Bollywood celebs are leaving no stone unturned to educate the masses about the coronavirus and its effects. They are doing their best to help the less fortunate ones. Amidst these tough times, when social media is flooded with fake news and rumours, actress Vidya Balan has shared a video ‘Afwah Virus’ with the audience educating them to beware from these fake news and take necessary steps to avoid spreading them.

Sharing the video on her Instagram account, she wrote, “#AfwahVirus. A new virus is spreading across the world. The video features herself and ‘Tumhari Sulu’ fame actor Manav Kaul. Both of them have tried to educate people about the widespread of fake news and unfounded rumours on social media. They have asked people to stop falling prey to this news and do not spread them by any means. They have urged people to stop the spread of ‘AFWAH VIRUS ‘ through this video.

Since the widespread of Covid-19, there have been a number of fake messages and unfounded rumours circulating over various forms of social media which are putting lives to risk. This video is a great initiative by the actress to put a full stop to such news.

On the work front, Vidya Balan’s film ‘Shakuntala Devi’ is all set to make its premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The film revolves around the life of Shakuntala Devi who is also known as the human-computer. Film has been written and directed by Anu Menon and produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Vikram Malhotra.

Date of the Digital release will be announced very soon.
