2021 has just started and already big releases have been announced. Looks like, post the debacle of 2020, entertainment industry is all set to embrace 2021 and this year we will see many big films getting released. Vikrant Massey and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Mumbaikar first poster has also been released.
Sharing the poster with his fans, Vikrant wrote, “Happy to be sharing the title announcement of our next film #Mumbaikar helmed by the incredible Santosh Sivan and @theameensshibu. Honoured to be sharing the screen space with such fine artistes.”
With this film Vijay Sethupathi is finally making his foray into bollywood films. The film is being directed by Santosh Sivan and produced by Shibu Thameens. It will feature Vikrant Massey, Vijay Sethupathi, Ranvir Shorey, Sanjay Mishra, Tanya Maniktala and Sachin Khedekar.
As per the reports, this film is a Hindi remake of Tamil film Maanagaram which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It is thriller film which will keep the audience hooked to their seats till the last scene.
On the work front, Vikrant’s film ‘Ram Prasad ki Tehrvi’ was released yesterday. He will now be seen in Vinil Mathew’s ‘Haseen Dilruba’ which is a mystery thriller film. The film has been produced by Anand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma. It also stars Taapsee Pannu and Harshvardhan Rane. He will also be seen in ‘Yaar Jigri’ alongside Sunny Singh.
He will also be a part of ’14 Phere’ which is a social comedy being directed by Devanshu Singh. Kriti Kharbanda will play his love interest in the film.
