Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon who was recently seen in ‘Lokmat Most Stylish Awards 2019’, says that she wants to step out of her comfort zone and do different kinds of characters.

Kriti Sanon was interacting with the media on the sidelines of red-carpet gala of Lokmat Awards in Mumbai.

From playing an innocent playing a bubbly, cheerful small-town girl in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ the actress has essayed the role of a fearless queen in ‘Panipat’. The movie marked the first ever historic drama outing for Kriti.

Talking about the response to her stellar performance in Panipat, Kriti said, “For me ‘Panipat’ was totally a unique subject. My role as ‘Parvati Bai’ in the movie was entirely distinct from the other characters I have acted till now. As I am a Punjabi girl, I have never imagined myself as a Maharashtrian girl. I wanted to make sure I look convincing on screen and people don’t see Kriti in the role but ‘Parvati Bai’. I am happy, that as an actor my work has been appreciated to such a great extent. I am feeling more encouraged and motivated due to the response I have received. Now I want to step out from my comfort zone and figure out those characters which I have not even imagined.”

Kriti Sanon will next star as a surrogate mother in Laxman Uteka’s drama ‘Mimi’ and will also be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in ‘Bachchan Pandey’, a remake of the Tamil action film ‘Veeram (2014). The dates are still to be announced.
