Winning Dada Saheb Phalke Award is the biggest achievement of my television career Says Surbhi Chandna

Surbhi Chandna is undoubtedly amongst the most loved celebrity in Indian Television. After she played the role of Naagin in its fifth season, she has become everyone’s favorite. The actress won the award for Best Actress in Television Series at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2021 and is on top of the world after winning this prestigious award.

Talking about her award, she said, “This is my first Dada Saheb Phalke Award. This is so special and prestigious to me. Every artist dreams of winning this award and winning Dada Saheb Phalke Award is the biggest achievement of my television career.”

She further added,” This award is very special for my parents also as I think they work harder than me.”

The popularity of the Naagin franchise in our country is massive. Talking about the same, she said,” Usually people get bored after watching the second season of any tv show. But Naagin’s popularity is getting bigger with each season. With every new season being announced of the show, people become more excited to know who will be the next Naagin. This show is a big hit amongst the audience and especially kids.

Dheeraj Dhoopar and Surbhi’s chemistry became the talk of the town when they both worked together in Season 5 of Naagin. Talking about work experience with him, she said, “Dheeraj and I worked together for seven days for the show and in those seven days only he became very special to me. He is a great actor and friend.”

Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2021 was held on 20th February and several celebrities from the film and television industry graced the event.
