Chef’s Table Experience with Chef Shriya Shetty at The Classroom by La Folie

Regional food lovers are in for a treat. On Saturday, September 21, Chef Shriya Shetty will be cooking up a storm at The Classroom by La Folie, serving diners an exclusive, six-course menu of dishes from her native Mangalore.

With years of experience from working at renowned restaurants such as Gaggan (Bangkok) and Ellipsis (Mumbai) under her belt, Shriya now runs an artisanal bakery and patisserie called Pupkins Kitchen in Mangalore. She also moonlights as a researcher in Mangalorean food and spends her time away from the bakery learning age-old recipes & traditional cooking techniques from Mangalorean homes.

Chef Shriya’s dinner marks the launch of the Chef’s Table series being offered at The Classroom by La Folie. For this, she has put together an exclusive six-course menu of vegetarian and non-vegetarian that is sure to delight every palate. With each course, diners can sit back and listen to her anecdotes, stories of her time in the Mangalorean kitchens, and experiences of putting the dishes together.
