Taj Connemara celebrates World Tourism Day with a fantastic spread of dishes that are a fusion of local delicacies with international influence! The all-day dining multi-cuisine restaurant overlooking the swimming pool, The Verandah, well known for its global cuisine, will host this unique festival. Revel in the subtle merging of desi and videshi, as you enjoy a medley of well-balanced flavours!

The team of chefs led by Head Chef, Kishore Kumar has created an amalgamation of different tastes, textures, colours and of flavours, to create a whole new dish.

The Indo-Russian amuse bouche of Masala Papad Crusted Cheese Pojarski will set the tone for the rest of the meal! Try the Cajun spiced Murungaikai Bean Broth (Drumstick & Beans braised in Cajun Broth); Tex-Mex Chennai (Kalaan Tawa Roast and Montrejack cheese Taco); Thayir Wada Cheese Baked Tartelette inspired by French cuisine; Crespelle Ennai Kathikikai Arrosto (Eggless Savoury crepes filled with Ennai Kathirikai roast & Bocconcini, served with Cajun spiced Appalam);or the Orzo Puliohara (Rice shaped pasta tossed with tempered spicy and tangy tamarind sauce, served with masala panelle and vadams).

Non vegetarians, don’t miss the Burmese style soup with Chennai’s favourite chicken pepper fry and crispy rice Sevai, Kozhi Milagu Khao Suey; the Italian inspired Gnocchi Kothu Kari Masala; or the Schezwan Style Chilli Garlic Chicken Idiyappam (Shredded Steamed Idiyappam cooked in Schezwan style).

The dessert menu includes Filter Coffee TiramisuNannari Pastry; and Chettinad Spiced Valrhona rocks.
