There are some things that bring back a sense of nostalgia, they remind you of the happy times you shared with the people you love and one such thing is the smell of fresh fish being fried. It reminds you of the time when you used to wake up early in the morning for a trip to the fish market, where you picked the fresh catch of the day and relished the flavours together with your family.
But with changing times, the experience and joy of eating fish started changing too. Most of the places where you order fish preferred convince and cost over flavours. The habit of using frozen fish slowly took over the restaurant industry and the experience just didn’t feel the same anymore.
At Kommune we want to change that and go back to the good old days by serving seafood that’s caught on the same day it’s being served. Keeping that in mind, Kommune introduces ‘Fresh Catch’ – a sea food festival where you are served nothing but fresh seafood that comes straight off the fisherman’s boat every single day. Available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and throughout the month of October, come experience the same nostalgic flavours with the ones you love. The menu serves favorites such as Nandu Rassam to Tuna Salad, Rawa Fried Prawns, Basil Pesto Fish Kebab, Nethili Varuval, Malabar Spiced Grilled Pompret, Kerala Style Fish Biryani, Meen Moilee and much more.
