Mangalorean Classics: Cooking Workshop by Chef Shriya Shetty


Explore the distinct flavours of the Mangalorean coast with Chef Shriya Shetty in an interactive, Mangalorean classics cooking class. With the festive season around the corner, it’s time to start brushing up on your cooking skills, in preparation for the soirees you can host all season long. Using fresh ingredients and traditional recipes, you will learn to create a few much-loved dishes from this region of India. After the class, you can take away your delicious creations to enjoy at home with your family.

During this interactive class with 25-year-old chef Shriya Shetty, participants will learn how to create dishes like the traditional Mangalorean Neer Dosa with Bella Tarai (sweet coconut jaggery chutney); Roasted Sweet Potato or Chicken Ghee RoastFish Banana Leaf Fry; and Kori Rotti, a Mangalorean chicken curry served with flattened crispy rotis made of rice flour.
