People always assume that self-care isn’t for men because it lets them show vulnerability and real human feelings. Luckily things are changing for the better and self-care isn’t something that only women do. And yeah, before you begin to imagine what self-care looks like, it isn’t just about taking long baths with sea salts and candles. There are a lot of things you can do to make yourself feel good. Take advantage of alone time:

Many people feel that cleaning or doing some kind of chore makes them feel a bit more amazing. And honestly, we agree. If you are someone who feels the same way, do it. Clean your house, throw away all the junk, and enjoy doing chores to start feeling good.

Always have a physical routine:

Physical routines are one of the most popular self-care routines everyone follows. People love different physical activities. Some love exercising and are always at the gym, some love cleaning their yard and garden, and some people enjoy walking or running whenever they want. Find out what you love right now and start doing it.

Have a good nighttime routine:

Some people don’t sleep right after going to bed. If you are one of those people, take some time to create a good nighttime routine that will help you sleep. Whatever you do, try to avoid screens at night. You can listen to warm music with a speaker, write, do your skincare, etc. Anything but screens that will help you sleep better.

This is one of the things that are easier to say. But take you time to forgive people who have made you feel bad in the past. And don’t forget to forgive yourself for the mistakes you made too.

Take some time to catch with old friends:

If you miss the old days of hanging out with all the people you had fun with, maybe call them. Ask them how they are doing and catch up with things. It would be an amazing feeling to meet the people you once loved so much to see once more.
